FIELD STORY 01

Sunshine Key RV Resort

"The park was operating with disconnected systems, nobody fully understood."

How our CREW rebuilt connectivity, surveillance and operational coordination acroos on active RV Resort.

CONTEXT

By the time our team arrived, the park had already gone through months of delays, unstable connectivity, and communication failures between systems that were supposed to work together.

Wi-Fi operated independently from surveillance. Access control had no operational visibility. Different vendors had left partial implementations behind. Nobody had a complete picture of the infrastructure anymore.

The challenge was not simply installing technology.

The challenge was understanding an operation that had slowly become disconnected from itself.

The First Walktrough

“One of the first things we noticed was that every critical system had been installed at different moments by different providers,” recalls one of the field technicians.

“Nothing was really integrated. Cameras worked independently. Network cabinets were undocumented. Some access points were overloaded while other areas had no reliable coverage at all.”

02

The Real Problem

What looked like isolated technical issues quickly revealed a much larger operational problem.

• Staff teams were compensating manually for disconnected systems every single day.
• Maintenance requests took longer to dispatch.
• Managers lacked visibility between locations.
• Connectivity failures affected both guests and operations.

And simple troubleshooting became difficult because nobody had a centralized understanding of the infrastructure.

03

The Field Decisions

The breakthrough came once both teams stopped treating the project as separate systems.

Instead of solving Wi-Fi, surveillance, and field coordination independently, the operation started being rebuilt as one connected environment.

That changed everything.

THE RESULTS

✓ Front desk teams stopped relying on workarounds.

✓ Managers regained operational visibility.

✓ Field coordination became faster.

✓ Connectivity stabilized across high-traffic areas.

✓ And for the first time in a long time, the infrastructure started behaving like one system.

“The problem wasn’t the hardware. The problem was that nobody had a unified operation anymore.”
